Is the Monaco Camelot 43pdq front road side?
Unit is a Monaco Camelot 43PDQ. The slide out in question (front road side) in 2007 now incorporated the refrigerator and had additional weight which made it slow to retract. It had many problems as time went on with it stopping several times after a 4 inch retraction. The circuit breaker would pop then reset enabling you to continue retraction.
Are there any motor homes manufactured by Monaco?
All motor homes of this year manufactured by Monaco (Camelot, Scepter, Contessa) could have the same problem and need this retrofit. Also any unit with the same slide out arrangement has the potential problem as wear and tear take place. These rollers need replacement now as once they shatter, damage will occur.
Is there a replacement motor for a disco slideout?
All disco owners are in sympathy with you and would all say the replacement motor is worth the $. On the Disco, the driver side slide fits flush to the floor when extended. The three men are getting it over the ramp to retract. There is a replacement motor with higher torque available.
