How are RV floors constructed?

Where are the soft areas in a Rockwood RV?

All the soft areas are where the furnace ducts runs. If you look under the bathtub you can see that there is not a wood floor but only white foam with a thin sheet over it and vinyl covering. I have talked to other Rockwood owners and they seem to experience the same thing.
